Due to the latest government advice, we’ve taken the very difficult decision to close the hotel’s doors from Monday 23rd March until further notice.
Health and wellbeing is our utmost priority and, while we are deeply saddened by this development, we hope you will appreciate the measures we’ve taken to protect the safety of our guests,staff and family.
It is truly heartbreaking to see our hotel doors close, however we plan to reopen as soon as restrictions are lifted and hope to see you all again when that time comes.
For all of you with bookings for April, we will cancel and postpone until a future date. We will answer emails and phone calls from anyone wishing to discuss alternative visits in the future.
For May and beyond, we assume the situation is going to get worse before it gets better. Taking one month at a time as we get nearer, move your booking to a future date. At this stage we don’t know when that future date is.
Some of you may have pre-paid Booking.com in full. This agent hold your funds and have yet to transfer it to us. If you now request free cancellation, we can agree to that and all booking fees are waived. (NB – very important, do not just cancel your stay, if you are due in the next 4 weeks, the monies you have paid may be kept and we would be charged commission. Call us is you need clarity or assistance).
For anyone who has paid Hazelbank a deposit , (thank you for coming to us directly) we have very limited resources to refund all deposits and it would be very helpful/considerate if you agreed to leave those deposits with us for the time being, and hopefully apply them to a new booking later in the year, or even in 2021. We understand many of you are from overseas . Please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we can start to work out how to cancel/amend your stay. Many of you have been in touch already, thank you for your patience and assistance. As you can imagine, we have a pretty full calendar of bookings to work through.
