My wife and I visited for a two night stay to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. From the very beginning of our stay, we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were very clean and we had lovely views over the gardens and countryside. The food was not only excellent, but varied and interesting.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and on our last day we were given a decent bottle of wine as a gift for our anniversary – a very nice touch and summed up everything about the hotel and the people who run it. Many thanks to all of them for a most enjoyable stay. We will be back!- David C
We have been here several times since 2014. This will always be the place we will spend our anniversary. I’m not sure what I can write that describes how much we love this place. Donna, Gary and the team always treat us amazingly. The location is beautiful, the food amazing. There is no place I’d rather be.- Ricky L, Northamptonshire
They just get it right. A family run hotel that exhibits minute attention to detail in all aspects of keeping a hotel. The bedrooms are very comfortable and are spotlessly clean. Their is a lovely lounge for guests to enjoy and share stories. The food, both breakfast and dinners are a real treat; being inventive and locally sourced ingredients. Check out the wine list, you will not be disappointed.- Roger, Stafford
