Wonderful location with great views. So tranquil. Very well presented (local) food beautifully cooked – so tasty. Adam looked after us very well throughout our stay, which included our wedding anniversary. Would recommend Hazel Bank to anyone. Excellent ground-floor room and a very comfortable bed, so we slept soundly. Adam’s knowledge of walks in the area was just right, considering my relatively poor mobility. Lovely lounge for afternoon cuppa, pre-dinner drinks and after-dinner coffee. Thanks for the log fire too.- Jane, North Yorkshire
Meals were superb, canapes to die for and excellent 4 course meals all without the effort of having to make decisions and then wishing you had your partner’s meal when you saw it! Gary and Donna were happy to oblige – their view is that it is all about the guest. Gary, Donna and Adam couldn’t have been more friendly or more helpful and were clearly and justifiably proud of their hotel. You could justify coming here just for the hotel but of of course the setting makes it even more sublime.- Peter, Ashby De La Zouch
Having stayed a few months ago we have just been again to make sure that the rooms,, ambience, food and attention to detail was as good as we had first experienced. We were not disappointed.
The family think of everything. Unfortunately, the huge number of guests who are repeaters is making its mark as to book into the hotel is getting more difficult. Nevertheless, we can do no more than wish Gary, Donna and Adam continued success.- Brian J, Stockport
