Crummock Water

  • Distance: 2.2 miles
  • Difficulty: Easy

This is a short walk through beautiful landscape. Parking at Park Bridge, cross the bridge and turn right at the footpath sign ahead.

The walk then leads through Low Park and above High Park Fell. As you climb above the brow it unveils a fantastic view of Crummock Water below. Follow the dry stone wall to descend down to the lake.

There’s a path which sits just above the shore of the lake, which eventually meets the main lake shore path, it can be quite boggy even during dry spells.

After reaching the pump house move further inland and then take either the path beside Park Beck (which is sometimes locked) or the public footpath which leads back to Park Bridge.
A very scenic and pleasant little walk. Photography and walk by Andrews Walks.
